LA MIRADA — Colin Smith (Las Vegas, Nev.) won his first SCIAC race, but his running mate Cole Williams (San Francisco) had to pull out of the race with an illness and the defending champion Occidental College men’s cross country team had to settle for fourth place at the SCIAC Multi-Dual at La Mirada Park on Friday.
